So they're now training a service puppy.
The plan is that she'll become a guide dog for the visually impaired. However she may end up being better suited to being a scent dog for law enforcement.
Obviously my Mothers aren't doing any of the specialised training. They're just covering the first year of basic puppy training. With a particular focus on socialisation and exposure to a wide variety of non-dog friendly situations.
Even so. The pressure not to screw it up is immense!!!!
I could probably have mentioned that sooner.
If only the usual daily three pages hadn't grown to closer to six pages in two years. Two years in which I've become seriously starved of hard news.
