The Officer-of-the-Court Still Hasn't Made An Official Visit.

However the police do have the photographs and full indentities of the individuals in question.
So if they do attempt to return to the permises the householder simply needs to call 999 and they'll be arrested.
If they're banging on the door demanding to be let in that's Breach of the Peace, possibly rising to the level of Affray. In they're attempting to force their way into the premises to remove money or other valuables then that's Robbery.
If they're going to attempt to continue without the property owner's permission then that's, arguably, Criminal Damage with reckless disregard.
The householder will have to pay to have it all demolished. So telling them to stop paying to have it built is just being a good neighbour. It is taking the expression; "When you're in a hole it's time to stop digging" and literally flipping it on its head.
I assume that at some point in the future they will want to appeal the ruling that they have made themselves intentionally homeless. It would certainly help them if they started building evidence to support that case now.
