The UK actress Charlotte Ritchie being a case in point.

To give you an idea of how long it took me to find time to watch; "A Quiet Place" (2018). The DVR was full of trailers for her hideous looking sitcom "Feel Good" (2020). In which she plays a gay character. Shortly afterwards I had the time to watch " The Assessment" (2025). In which she plays a gay character.

It might just be that I watched two things she did five years apart in quick succession. However I'm starting to think she's trying to tell us something.

Now. Is Ricky Martin that gay Hispanic popstar from the 90's. Or am I struggling to tell him apart from someone else?





All of which does sound like stuff I could be Googling.

I'm sure Pedro Pascal is familiar with State-Run Totalitarian Capitalism. State Owned Enterprises (SOE's) like Petrobras, PescaPeru, MineroPeru. And all that. However Big Tech's decision to adopt the No Nipples Rule could well be an example of State-Absent Totalitarian Capitalism. Where there are no checks on the power of Corporations. Rather like in the Captaincies before the locals got all nibbly. Or in the time of the Robber Barons during the US' Gilded Age. A small group of very rich people who own the infrastructure got together and decided this is the rule we have to live by now. Not only didn't we tell them to introduce that rule we probably don't even know who they are.
