I used to be a big F1 fan. For the very nerdy reason of it being engineering testing the laws of physics to the limit. 

A big part of that was in race refuelling. Compared to the weight of a F1 car the fuel is really heavy. Although as it is used that weight reduces, changing the dynamics of the car. It particularly affects tire wear. So the mix of in race refuelling and tire replacement created this very complex strategy for pit stops.

When they banned in race refuelling they removed that dimension. Dumbing it down to the point I no longer felt it was worth organising my time around.

Since then it's been sold to a US Corporation. Dumbing it down to the point of a Tom Cruise blockbuster action movie.

Apparently there's a blockbuster action movie about F1 in the mix this year.

While even I thought; "Le Mans '66" (2019) sounded too much like hard work to bother go to see at the cinema. Despite my Father attending the actual Le Mans '66 in person.
