Gentrification Is Really The Reversal Of White-Flight.

The abadonment of inner-cities allows poor, yet really interesting people to move in. Then culture vultures like Taylor Swift come in and buy everything up, forcing all the interesting people to leave.
One day I might do a family photograph entitled; "The Process of Gentrification."
It would involve my Father, Brother and I standing at my Brother's house in Peckham. My Father points in one direction and says;
"I remember when I went to school over there as a boy."
While I point in another direction and;
"I remember when I got a rather interesting tattoo done in a squat over there."
There's also a Fairmount Hill in The Phillipines. However Boston's Fairmount Hill is located just off its Hyde Park. Named after London's Hyde Park.
Back in the day there was a rather infamous squat just of London's Hyde Park which was the scene of many intense, really nerdy discussions about the finer points economic policy in a globalised economy.

I seem to remember that being a major theme of Brazil's coping strategy for its great tragedy, the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Thanks to the Internet in the Globalised Era language is really one of the few barriers left. If you sing in English you can instantly sell your music across the English-speaking world. If you sing in Spanish you can instantly sell your music across the Spanish-speaking world. Whereas if you're Brazilian you sing in Portuguese. So can only sell your music in Brazil, Portugal and Mozambique.
Just 10 years later I think we might have to completely rewrite that.
All of which is a very long, convoluted way of saying;
"Turn on the subtitles, dumbass!"
