They Finally Overcame The Referee's Bribe Then.

This year in the UK AFCON has been broadcast on the Channel 4 Network's E4 Channel. So some painfully White people who don't normally watch something as racist as Football can revel in how wonderful Britain's diversity is. Just as long as it stays on the TV, doesn't go anywhere near them.

This type of final are always really tense, cagey affairs. Astonishingly boring and hard to watch, unless you support one of the teams. Being rather indifferent to either team I can't say I watched it, so much as kept half an eye on it.

When the referee allowed that Moroccan player to be treated for over 8 minutes on the pitch. Rather than following the rules and making him leave the pitch, leaving Morocco a man down.

It was at that point I realised the referee had decided that Morocco were going to be anointed winners. So decided to watch something else after dinner.

Over the course of having dinner I got to see Senegal's winning goal disallowed.

I also got to see Diaz receive a yellow card for diving in the box.

When the referee awarded a penalty instead, walking off and doing something else was the only thing any sensible person could do.
