I Didn't Think It Would Take Long For The Guttering To Be Tested.

It's probably something which takes longer to explain than do. However the guttering on the side of my garage is not connected to the guttering at the front of the garage. Yet both sections drain into the same down pipe. Through a shaky contraption of bends and joins which was never great in the wind.

When I replaced the down pipe with modern pipes and clips I could not get the contraption to fit back in place. So the guttering on the side drained through the hole where was no down pipe. Falling straight into the concrete I laid. Mocking me with each drip.

The side piece is now connected to the front piece using that overflow pipe Amazon gave me as packaging when I got some net curtain rails and has passed the test.

When it comes to UPVC piping that reciprocating saw really doesn't take any prisoners.

Although I probably shouldn't have waited until today to replace the handle on the kitchen window.

It wasn't broken, broken. However it was tagged; "Do Not Use." With the central heating set to; "Summer Heatwave" and the door having to be kept closed due to the insanely over sensitive smoke alarm the lack of ventilation meant things could get a bit damp.

Although not as damp as I got standing outside for the 5 minutes it took to replace it.

So then I took a nap.
