Today is a New Day.

Monday November 24th 2025 (24/11/25).

Honestly, this entire week is looking like a write-off. Today certainly is.

You may remember that back in mid-August the water-supply pipe to my house sprung a leak. I then got that repaired within five days. Then reported the reported the repair to Thames Water as soon as the let me by identifying that there had been a a leak, several days after the repair. Even if that didn't go through then the 28 day window to have it fixed expired in late September.

Last week, amid COP30 and just before the G20 in South Africa - famous for drought, Thames Water got in touch demanding that I do something about this leak. Threatening things like thousands of pounds of fines and forcing entry into my home.

So I'm going to have to spend the day on the phone dealing with that. Obviously, as the person who'll be doing it, I want that to take as little time as possible. Allowing me to get some work done afterwards.

However the only reason I'm having to do it in the first place is because someone is trying to be difficult.
