I Have Been Inhaling Paint Fumes All Day Again.

Just saying.

It's great though. It means I've finished!

I've weatherproofed everything I've been permitted the resources to weatherproof. The Black Lion will need re-skinning, if it's still there next year.

This isn't like cleaning or mowing the lawn though. Where you're already thinking about the next time you're going to have to do it, while you're still doing it this time.

This is actually finished now! I get to draw a line under it. I don't have to think about finding time to do it anymore!

I even found time to assess the thing in the hedge which isn't a hedge.

It turns out the stump-killer worked very, very well. On the stumps I applied it to.

Part of my assessment involved me sawing through one of the bigger stumps. As I was doing it I found myself thinking; "Ooh this is really easy."

Up until the point the handsaw snagged and I found myself thinking; "This isn't so easy anymore." Then, with just the effort of that thought, the wibbly-wobbly, flibbidy saw yanked the whole stump out of the ground.

At which point I thought; "Yes. The stump-killer has worked."

The issue is growth from stumps I did not treat. I have now identified those stumps and come up with a clear plan of action of how I'm going to respond to them.
