Success Seems To Have Found Me Generous, Again(!)

In waking up today I had two objectives.
The overriding, primary objective was wood-staining the wood on my Grandmother's (enclosed) wooden porch. Which would leave it looking substantially less shabby, even from the distance of the public street. It would also leave it less likely to rot and collapse, in yet another expensive disaster.
My second objective was to assess the damage of the most recent expensive disaster, the garden which sits over the newly installed water supply pipe. This was divided into a secondary and tertiary objectives; Cutting down the lawn to see how much lawn was left. Then trimming the hedge. To begin to understand what needs to be done about the thing in the hedge which isn't a hedge, once the sap stops rising.
At pretty much the moment I achieved my primary objective it started raining heavily. This prompted me to spend a long lunch tutting and swearing as I waited to find out whether the weather would prevent me from achieving my secondary and tertiary objectives.
After around two hours of tutting, swearing and generally fiddling about on the Internet the rain lifted, making way for the forecast mild, sunny day.
I took this as a sign that I should crack on while there's still weather and time.
So not only did I trim the front lawn, to discover that I've now got an excuse to blast the surviving weeds with Gylphosate before re-seeding around 75%, I also trimmed one of the back lawns. I was also able to trim my side of the hedge. At least allowing me to see what I need to contemplate.
I then applied a second coat of wood-stain to my Grandmother's porch. Along with a second coat to the garage doors. Having applied the first coat back in my Bob Marley era.
Anyway. The net result is I'm about an hour behind.
At least I'm not that f'cking behind though(!)

Something to do with our differing concepts of; "Low Odour."
Even Boss Cat was forced to turn his nose up.
