Let Us Know If Dallas Ever Decides To Dim Its Lights.

Honestly. I don't know what's wrong with these new (Pakistani) construction workers, over the way. It's as if they find the idea of already being in the pub by midday on a Friday to be Haram or something(!)
Anyway. As I was preparing dinner, for an 18:00 (Zulu) service. Counting down the seconds until I could draw a line under them.
My Mp3 Player decided to do this;

The first I heard about it was a flash on the TV news ticker around 21:00 (always Zulu, unless otherwise stated). Kerr's being the name of my childhood Opticians.
My family is also familiar with Texas' Kerr County. My Father & Sister drove through it on a road-trip they took across America's Southern States in, I think, 2003/4.
I've yet to confirm the town they stopped for gas in. Only for the entire town to come out to greet the actual, real-life, British people. The Mayor/Chief-of-Police/Head of the Fire Department was particularly pleased to see them. That same, one man was overjoyed to show them the town's new fire truck.
So I really didn't want to be dealing with all that. Feet up, after dinner. It's only once we started getting audio & video of the Deputy Governor I felt compelled to.
I've still got to research the entire political history of Brazil, amongst other things. So I've not yet had time to find the Guadalupe River on a map, let alone consider its micro-climate.
However I do know that flash-flooding can come in real fast.
To give you an idea. There was no rain predicted in my part of Britain on Sunday (6/7).
So I confidently trekked out to the house on the estate where we do laundry. Moments after arriving I realised I'd be staying there for a good half an hour or so. Torrential rain.
Honestly. I'd be more upset if he wasn't having the absolute worst day of his life.

That's not even the trippy bit.
The effort of piecing together Diogo Jota's incident, amongst other things, incited me to have a couple of beers.
Amid those beers I decided to finish off the last bit of my tablet's battery by streaming a certain Bob Marley song I already had on my Mp3 Player. As a hint to a certain community.
10 Earth hours later!

Meh, could've been worse.
