Hmm. This Certainly Feels Like; "Force Majeure."
This past week I've been visiting my Mothers. A large part of that always involves visiting my Mothers' Horse. Although that's not really relevant to this story.
All you need to know is that we were driving a car along a very rural road. A road in the part of the World which is surrounded by farm land.
In a city by the side of the road you will often get and Asphalt sidewalk/pavement. In rural areas you'll typically get a soft soil and grass verge. By the side of this road you have a stream. So it is always a little bit damp.
The previous night Britain had experienced Storm Eowyn. I wouldn't go so far as to say this flooded the road. The sort of thing that would require it to be; "Forded." Ideally in a 4x4 with a snorkel exhaust. However it did create some pretty sizeable puddles of standing water.
As we were driving along we caught one of these puddles, causing it to splash everywhere. Almost immediately we got a warning light on the dashboard. Informing us that there was an error with the Adblue emissions. This error would cause the engine to shutdown.
The car in question is Diesel powered. When you burn Diesel in an internal combustion you release a lot of Nitrogen Oxide (NOₓ).
You may remember there was a big scandal back in 2014. The; "Diesel Emissions Scandal." It was discovered that a lot of vehicle manufacturers had installed so-called; "Cheat Devices." Hidden programs in the vehicles onboard computer system which would produce artificially low NOₓ readings in laboratory tests. Giving the false impression they comply with EU NOₓ emission standards.
One way to reduce the NOₓ emissions is by adding an Ammonia (NH₃) based chemical called; "Adblue" to the fuel mixture. At the EU's very strict instructions the exhaust system of every vehicle includes an electronic sensor to monitor the Adblue levels within the emissions.
To ensure that you are paying to add this extra chemical to your vehicles fuel. If the sensor doesn't detect a set level on Adblue in the exhaust gases it will instruct the computer to shutdown the engine after a set distance. Despite the lack of the additive not damaging the engine.
The appearance of this Adblue warning light in my Mothers' car has led to some debate.
My Mothers are of the opinion that they need to immediately stop driving the vehicle and pay to hire another vehicle until it can be serviced by a manufacturer licensed mechanic. A; "Dealer."
I'm of the opinion that the electronic sensor has simply got wet. So provided they don't exceed the set distance they can keep driving it until they can get it checked by any sort of mechanic. Who'll probably just unplug the battery to reset the onboard computer. Of course GPS might just be instructing the computer to lie.
I don't mention any of this to encourage anyone to exert any sort of pressure on either of my Mothers, either way. I'm perfectly capable of doing that over the phone. I am simply attempting to confirm my family's seemingly uncanny ability to find itself right in the middle of things.
It was something else the deposed Biden Regime lacked the mental capacity to consider when it attacked Ukraine in 2022. The short Blitzkrieg which was supposed to spoil China's party during the 2022 Winter Olympics/Paralympics.
Russia is the only country which makes this Adblue additive.
So sanctioning Russia, stopping it from selling everyone Adblue. That meant that all the Diesel powered Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Trucks used in every step of every supply-chain across the entire EU would stop working after a set distance. A distance limit they would reach must faster than my Mothers' car.
Apparently, it also didn't occur to anyone to just issue a software update.
Obviously, my Mothers live in Salisbury. Made infamous by the 2018 Skripal Poisonings. Oft mentioned in attempts to justify the Biden Regime's 2022 attack on Ukraine. You may remember the very first footage to emerge as the incident developed, during the 2018 Winter Olympics/Paralympics. It was CCTV footage shot from inside a nearby gym.
That gym is now a Turkish-British owned restaurant. Apparently named in honour of my Israel-Jewish ex-girlfriend.
So that's fun(!)
