Hasn't The Mossad Get Better Things To Do Than Search My Attic(?!)

I discovered that I did have the option of a UH-60, as a less tasteless alternative to a wrecked MH-53.

However as I was searching and failing to find the little plastic army men I came to the conclusion that it's only funny if it takes five minutes. Longer than that and it's best to just fill the trench in with concrete.

Now. Have I mentioned how annoyed I am about having sprained my ankle?

Yesterday (10/9) I was planning to finish the trench with a paving mortar and fill in all of the adjoining cracks.

Also. As I'm sure any viewers of the proposed Paralympic Opening Ceremony knows. The rendering fell off from a pillar on one of my out-buildings. Exposing the brickwork which supports a wall, lintel and roof of that out-building.

So at the same time as filling the trench with concrete I re-rendered it. As I feared it took two coats.

I was hoping to paint over that rendering and fix the drain-pipe which probably caused the original rendering to fall off.

I've got the paint. I've got the roller. I've got the tray. I've just been lacking the ability to stand unaided.

So instead I've got some nasty looking patches of exposed rendering mocking me.

The good news is that my ankle seems to be healing up as scheduled. After prioritising keeping it raised I was even able to leave the house today.

The bad news is that, equally as scheduled, it seems to have set my arthritis off.

The even worse news is that I think I've got a nasty Cold coming on.

So it looks like this is going to be the week of pitiful excuses.
