As For Rachel Brosnahan's Bits.
I've been forced to open another bottle of wine.
It's fine, I had a couple of spare bottles, just rolling around on the floor there.
I'm sure no-one's ever going to explain to me that it would be much cheaper to just buy a third, six bottle wine rack off of Lauren Snachez's levy. For all of £7.99.
Anyway, much like the point I'm trying to reach. I have Season 4, Episode 8 of; "The Marvellous Mrs Maisel" all cued up on my player box thingy.
I'm certainly finding this season to be more pleasurable than previous seasons. Although that might be my fault. For trying to ram seasons down my own throat faster than anyone could be expected to make them.
Speaking of things which might, possibly, be my fault. I once described her performance in the 2014 season of; "The Blacklist" as; "A hilariously unconvincing assassin."
I now wish to clarify;
To me all seasons of The Blacklist appear as 2 Dimensional, behind glass, in the corner of the room in which I'm occasionally allowed to sit. So there's always going to be a limit to which I can find any of them to be truly convincing.
That said. I found her portrayal of an assassin to be perfectly competent, believable.
It's just that in many a scene. Particularly that one where she's on the kitchen counter, sipping from a beer bottle. As if it were a comedian's microphone. You just felt that she'd be so much happier if they just let her run off and do comedy instead.
And fair play to The Blacklist.
They launched her off to do comedy instead.
