I didn't catch the full details as I was taking the very rare opportunity to vacuum clean a chair. Which happens to sit next to another chair.

However I gather he was somewhat delayed after suffering a tyre "blowout"(puncture). Then having to wait, for about an hour, for the dreaded Royal Automotive Club (R.A.C) to come along in one of their big, Orange vans. To change the tyre for him.

Fortunately the spare wheel seems to be an actual wheel, rather than one of those temporary nonsenses. So there's no rush.
