I Keep Meaning To Do A Lengthy Trieste On Justin Bieber.
In fact I'm a little disappointed he didn't appear in the 2024 Super Bowl. As that would have forced me to do it. At a time when I'm almost contractually obligated to be vaguely coherent.
However Justin Bieber first found fame in 2007, aged just 13. For the next decade or so making fun of Justin Bieber wasn't so much a national pastime as an international sport.
In 2014 a High School in Washington State rather famously raised money by getting students to pay them to stop playing Justin Bieber songs.
Hilarious for us. Imagine reading that about yourself on the Internet though.
Along with the fame he found and the millions he made along the way. There's just so many ways that could've gone wrong.
Instead though he seems to have turned out to be a fairly okay sort of bloke.
His reward for that is that life seems to just keep kicking him.
First he got Lyme Disease. Then he got Mono leading to Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome. All while his wife suffered a Stroke at the age of just 25.
While I doubt either of them are exactly struggling to pay their medical bills. There's no amount of money that can compensate for that sort of thing.
So I'm genuinely a bit happy for them.

Just as I'm happy every time the news isn't about something going horribly wrong for them.
Although. There might be a reason for that.
