Yeah. It Was A Bit Traumatic For Me Too.

The version of Twitter I was using at the time was convinced it was Instagram. So if you clicked on a "Trend" it would first show you all of the pictures in that trend. Only then would it show you the text of the Tweets.
So bored, watching Match Of The Day (#MOTD) I clicked on Jennifer Lawrence's name, thinking she'd got a new haircut or something. Basically anything just to stop my knowledge of football being erased from my brain.
I then had to scroll through each and every one of the sexually explicit nude pictures. Just to arrive at some sense of context.
Initially I thought someone had hacked her phone, so I was all ready to go to war on her behalf. Personally I think even obtaining someone's phone number without their permission is a bit of an invasion of their privacy.
Obviously the BlackBerry I was using at the time was being mirrored live into the Match Of The Day studio.
So while I was being stunned and appalled the Gary Lineker led panel was busy making the sort of comments that would make Donald Trump blush.
Off camera, obviously. However they were having so much fun they became progressively less able to compose themselves as the recorded video cut back to the live studio.
All of which made it rather hard to stomach.
When Gary Lineker led the condemnation of Trump over the Access Hollywood tape. Claiming that no-one would ever engage in such crude locker room banter.
Anyway. I thought we all reached that conclusion back in 2023.
The episode without Gary Lineker's deluded, guilt-ridden virtue signalling.

Best. Episode. Ever!
We got to enjoy the highlights of the day's games. Without having any and all knowledge of football being bored out of our skulls.
We were then able to something else with our lives. While still getting to go to bed at a reasonable hour.
