Yeah. I Didn't Get To Finish The Deep Clean.
I got distracted by putting up an IKEA-esque bookcase.
Also. Do you remember the final day of COP27? When buying an off-brand upright vacuum cleaner suddenly became the most important thing in the entire World.
Then we waited a week until Black Friday. Buying a gold-standard Dyson, for less money than the knock-off.
Well. That Dyson has now, finally, been mounted to the wall. Elevating from its previous, very breakable, storage space in the middle of the floor.
So I'm hoping the third of the deep clean I did get done might actually take this time.
And I was further distracted by the surprise, early arrival of my new double bin.
Essentially it's two bins, one lid.
Although there's hardly a warranty to void. One bin is for unspecified household recyclables. While the other is for non-recyclables, aka; "Your Mum."
It reminds me of about a third of an idea I was definitely going to find the time to patent. Back in 2004, when kerbside recycling was nothing more than a glint in an optimists eye in Britain.
I hope it will improve on the current system. Where the food waste goes in the food waste caddy while the non-recyclables go in the bin.
And the recyclables just go all over the kitchen floor.
