The Venetian blinds arrived on Wednesday (19/6). So I fitted it this afternoon.

Fair play it was a single Venetian blind covering a single frame. Rather than three Roller blinds having to be arranged to cover bay windows.

Still though. Several months versus about an hour.

Plus where I had to invent clips for Hillarys' very expensive blinds. This £10 thing came with its own.

Although I kind of which it hadn't. Finding a screwdriver narrow enough to fit the gap proved a challenge. In the end I ended up using a knife.

So fitting the blind actually took about 20 minutes. While fitting that one, little clip took about 40 minutes.

Despite coming from two different suppliers, using two different courier firms both blinds arrived in about of an hour. I think, technically, the bathroom one arrived first. Sending me into a bit of a hungover panic spiral.

Until I reminded myself. That although I grouped the orders together to save money. I'm planning to launch the bathroom offensive until after I've got through many of the other tasks I've got lined up.

Not least entombing the border of 'The Gaza Strip' in cement.

It really was a mistake to indulge the delay which allowed the grass to grow again.
