The last one actually lasted for about four years. Despite me absolutely hammering it. Until one day I, literally, caught it with a hammer, cracking the screen. Eventually the screen came away from the casing. The battery really did not like that. It still managed to limp on for about three months held together by tape though.

This new one is made of metal and doesn't have a touch screen. It's also 64GB. Despite my mission to put all the music in the World on my mp3 player still only taking up around 11GB.

With the money I'd set aside for the mp3 player I was also able to get an Bluetooth speaker.
