Got Drunk, Fell Off A Horse.
Not necessarily in that order.
As I was planning to do back in January I've finally been to visit my mothers. I actually only got to visit one of my mothers, the other one was off sorting out her mother's affairs. However after five months of delays 50% still counts as a success.
It turns out that no matter how big and ugly you get, no matter what you achieve. You'll always be your mother's little boy. Almost as precious as the horses.
So I've been busy doing something of a horse driving test. Lots of precise turns and stops in the school (parade ring).
I didn't actually fall off despite that really being the first and most important skill. Not did I get drunk. Why spoil a fun title though.
Beyond that I played with the dog and cats and watched a couple of movies. Hardly exciting but as always with family. It's the company you're spending your time with rather than what you're doing with that time.
