Obviously I've only seen a few subtitled episodes of; "Longmire." However I must say that I found it somewhat problematic. In the sense that the lead Native-American character; "Henry Standing Bear" is played by Lou Diamond Phillips. Who is, really, of Hispanic heritage.
However back in 2012 I certainly couldn't immediately think of a Native-American actor who could have carried such a role. Even if a handful did manage to earn their cards off his back.
