Around 15:00 I noticed the blue lights were flashing all through my living room. As across the road a group of police officers were Stopping & Searching a group of gentleman of a light-fingered complexion.

I suspect the police had been tracking this group for a while, at least from the local park. This was just the point they'd got it together to intercept them.

Not that I know how it started. What it was about. Or even how it ended.

As with so much else from that quarter. It really wasn't worth looking up from what I was doing for.

You'd think by now they'd have a better idea of who is the protector and who is the protectee.

Started to act accordingly.
