Who isn't in the mood for a long list of excuses(?!)

When I come to cover Israel's attempt at the Eurovision Ice Cream Parlour. I'll have to explain how I had to view it as a personal attack. Within the context of a much wider, sustained personal attack. The CIA hoped this would begin with Rihanna appearing at the Super Bowl. Then continue until now, really.

I like to think that I more than coped with that. However I did pick up a small, opportunistic upper respiratory infection. The consquence of 22 hour days along with too much alcohol and too many cigarettes.

It didn't stop me smashing through the wall though. Completing the first full, six week, gym cycle since I mangled my arm. Back in November 2022. There is a reason why I take a break from the gym every six weeks or so.

So I've spent last week pottering about, recovering from all that. While fulfilling my most basic duties along with doing some much needed yard work. The eternal battle against the grass, for example.

Today I've got an exciting day of sharpening chisels scheduled. So I think I'm probably going to need another week.

Now on to my 6-7 hours of daily reading.
