Lock, Lights & Watches.

Recently I've been engaging in what a police officer once, rather hilariously, described to me as; "Target Hardening."

Obviously it would rather defeat the point if I told you what has been attached where. Or what voltage is currently running through it.

While doing all that and some advanced housework I discovered that completely losing track of time annoys me. Although not enough to endanger my watch or my phone.

So I brought a cheap Chinese, solar powered wristwatch. Something I wouldn't mind getting smashed by a hammer. Fair play to the Chinese manufacturer who trademarked the brandname; "Generic" though.

I have to say it's far better than I expected for £10. I was only looking something which would narrow it down to the nearest 15-20 minutes. 10 days later it's still keeping perfect time. In both the digital and analogue zones.

On related note. You know that weird pocket-in-a-pocket you get in jeans. Which no-one knows what it's for?

It's to keep your wristwatch in while you're working. To avoid it getting smashed by a hammer.

Jeans are the original construction wear. Denim fabric is the first generation Cordura fabric.

Which makes for something to think about. While waiting for paint to dry.

I also solved the saga of the kitchen sink plug. Which was turning into a Two Ronnies sketch.

It's an unusual size!

I was getting to the point of thinking it would just be easier to replace the sink. I've finally managed to source what I hope will be a decade's supply though.

Of course the old man got a plumber in to fix the dripping tap on Friday (19/5). Much to my annoyance(!)

So, has he definitely changed.

Or has he got someone to do that for him now(!)
