They were clearly told back in October 2021 that they'd failed. When they rang the bell and quit.

Everyone knows that's what ringing the bell and quitting means.

All they had left to do then was clear away the corpse. Not defile it further.

If there was to be any noise coming out of them over the weekend it would be the announcement that they've finally acknowledged that they failed.
