However. Ukraine has behaved so appallingly. For so long now.

It looks like they're going to have to join the ranks of Germany and Japan. 

By permenantly renouncing the notion of their soverign right to war. Settling disputes through the threat or use of force. Committing to peace through a rules based system. 

Along with a lengthy, decades long, ban on maintaining any sort of military force. Even for the purposes of self-defence.
