As for the option of having the old one repaired.

It was an old machine. This was clearly the first of many things that were about to go wrong with it.

We could afford a new one. So it's better for the old one to be completely refurbished and sold to someone who can't afford a new one. Perhaps somewhere in the Third World.

The £20 we paid them to remove it. Should get it at least a part of the way to Scotland.

Also. It's got Bluetooth.

It's not like the old one had any trouble talking to me.
