I though can think of a few reasons why Gucci might be feeling a bit passive aggressive at the moment.

Given all the vandalism you've wrought on their brand.

Of course it's good PR for them. Being seen to offer you an alternative.

But things are going to reach a point. Where they're just contributing to a situation where all that potential isn't being realised.

Obviously though I'm so busy at the moment. I'm not sure I'll be able to make time for anything more than formal introductions.
