Has Britain Learnt Something Vital Yet?

Still fizzing with post-Oscar excitement. They dragged my father in for yet another hospital appointment today. Meaning I had to pick him.

I was told this would be at 14:00. At 11:30 I got a call telling me that it was now. 

Which didn't, in any way, alter my ability to turn up until 14:00. Forcing them to sit and wait.

So Britain seems to have accidentally stumbled into an important lesson.

Neither I, nor the rest of the World, can be expected to wait.

Just because they're still insisting on standing in their own way.
