COVID-19 is known to trigger an immune response which can cause clotting problems.

The Oxford vaccine is designed to trigger that same immune response.

So a regulator should be asking for evidence that the vaccine isn't causing the problem.

They should also be asking why Britain is the only country not reporting these clotting problems.
