I Come Bearing Bad News.

The Kingbox is on its way out. And, sadly, it is the battery.

After 10 minutes charge it thinks itself full. So shuts down. Giving it about 30, precious, minutes of playbook.

Now. Some of those older mp3's. They may have carried with them a rudimentary, but extremely tailored, NSA virus.

I though think it's really old school hacking. Fluctuating the AC until it shuts down. It's certainly an issue we've has before.

Although, that said.

It cost £20 and been used, heavily, every day for 18 months.

Of Course There's More Than One Type Of Totalitarian Capitalism.

I'm sure Pedro Pascal is familiar with State-Run Totalitarian Capitalism. State Owned Enterprises (SOE's) like Petrobras, PescaPeru, MineroPeru. And all that. However Big Tech's decision to adopt the No Nipples Rule could well be an example of State-Absent Totalitarian Capitalism. Where there are no checks on the power of Corporations. Rather like in the Captaincies before the locals got all nibbly. Or in the time of the Robber Barons during the US' Gilded Age. A small group of very rich people who own the infrastructure got together and decided this is the rule we have to live by now. Not only didn't we tell them to introduce that rule we probably don't even know who they are.
