Really for it's own safety. Britain needs to get of this mentality that it has even remotely coped, let alone suceeded. 

Even undercounting they've seen 120,000+ deaths. Compared with around 80,000 deaths during the Spanish Flu.

When they didn't have ventilators. They didn't have steriods. They didn't even know Flu was caused by a virus.
