Ebola used to have a pretty much 100% fatality rate. An outcome it achieved with terrifying speed.

So I'm fascinated as to whether the fall to 60-70% is the result of better diagnosis, surveillence and treatment.

Or whether it's evolutionary imperative to survive has seen the virus itself adapt to become less lethal.
