There was once a public gathering of family and friends. Drink was no doubt involed.

An awkward silence arose. Which someone tried to break with the normally innocuous question; "Have you been watching anything good on TV?" 

I then did a quick risk assessment.

Before talking about; "Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles." A spin-off from all those; "Terminator" movies you may be familiar with.

I particularly focused on the young, female "Good" Terminator. Being especially impressed by the stillness of her performance.

Amongst the technical echelons of the Oscars that's still considered a skill. Even standing still it is hard for a human to act as something other than a human.

I thought the worst that could happen is;

There would be rumours about me being impressed by this new young actress. Prompting casting directors to call her in to take a look themselves. Perhaps even deciding to hire her for future works.

Boy! Did I get that wrong!

I also own both seasons of the Eliza Dushku co-produced; "Dollhouse" on DVD.

Having brought them online. So everybody knows how much I enjoyed it.

Which, in light of this new information.

Now sounds like the absolute height of insensitivity.
