And let me explain how it's been going so far.

I lay in bed for an hour. Waiting for an alarm I'd not set to go off.

Meaning that I didn't go near a computer until abour midday. Almost the exact moment this global Google outage struck. Including this blog.

So I hope the EU have got the message.

Regarding the reputational damage associated with a global outage.

I am now having to very seriously rethink this Buffy the Vampire storytelling.

Without the Brexit negotations. It's really a bit of fun. In that slow week between Christmas and New Year.

If the EU are going to keep this deranged and toxic atmosphere going until January 2021. Then nothing's going to be fun.

Particularly not for the EU.

I think that everyone can see from the EU's perspective Brexit negotiations are nothing more than a damage limitation exercise.

Every time they give the impression they haven't realised that. Such as by extending the talks.

Their reputation for competence takes a severe knock.
