So particularly the EU and particularly Ireland really need to start asking themselves some grown up questions.

About how much of the World they're prepared to see burn. In pursuit of what is, as best, a petty regional squabble.

Then that is something everyone is going to be paying for. For a long time to come.

And that's just the next four years. While you're still paying for the previous eight.

It's actually pretty basic psychology.

When you find yourself being consumed by a death spiral. You want to step back and gain perspective.

Is it's the EU's belief that I will work for free. Beyond all the crap I've been quietly absorbing all year.
