They're letting street dance onto Strictly Come Dancing now. In Blackpool week no less.

When people ask me;

"Why's Britain's version of Dancing With The Stars got such a weird name?"

I have to explain.

It's a nod to the show that started it all. "Strictly Ballroom."

The title was a reference to the rules of the competition. As in;

"Q. What styles of dance are allowed?"

"A. Ballroom. Strictly Ballroom."
