Michael Wetherly first rose to prominance in NCIS. His character ended up having a child with the Ziva David character.

The Ziva David character seems heavily inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Specifically the Evil Willow character. Who wanted to re-raise the {Satanic} Temple. Where the Temple used to stand. 

Eliza Dushku first rose to prominance in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
