Steph McGovern was BBC News' main business correspondent. Before leaving to become a celebrity chat-show host on Channel 4.

Just as Channel 4 had sunk millions into the project lockdown struck. So they thought;

 "Let's just do it from her home!"

 It was a complete disaster.

Then lockdown lifted and Channel 4 thought;

 "It'll be fine. Now we can do it from a studio!"

 If that's not a metaphor for our times, I don't know what is.
