I'm trying to blast through all seven seasons in a matter of weeks. Which seems guaranteed to suck all the fun out of it.

My main takeaway so far is it's commentary on US TV's unattainable standard of, particularly, female beauty.

By civilian standards the female lead is stunningly beautiful. However within the world of TV she seems plain, homely, dowdy. With her plump, mid-western face and very thick hair.

Her transition to a more attractive and therefore empowered woman is just one of the reasons Season 2 is proving disappointing.

I think we can all agree though. Berlin got scammed.

Not only was the wrong person blamed for the crime. The crime never even happened.
