Reckitt Benckiser (RB) are relatively notorious for one of the most literal and exploitative advertising campaigns seen if recent years.

You can almost hear the conversation in the background;

Executive 1: "Terrible news. Our Dettol sales have plateaued."

Executive 2: "How can that be? We've got people so needlessly terrified of germs sales in our Asthma division are through the roof."

Executive 1: "Maybe that's the problem. People are already using Dettol on everything they can think of."

Executive 2: "Why don't we tell them to use Dettol on things they would never think to use Dettol on. As they obviously don't need disinfecting."

Advertising Agency: "Here you go."
