A Little Knowledge is a Dangerous Thing.
I have actually been continuing to work on what should properly be referred to as;
Far Eastern Acute Respiratory Syndrome (FEARS).
The delay is that it is a very complicated topic. I'm concerned about putting out ideas before they are fully formed. Lest people take the germ of an idea and then extrapolate wildy into catastrophe.
Having visited a supermarket for the first time in two weeks I've found myself proved right.
To deal with panic buying I think I first suggested snipers.
I then made the off-hand suggestion that supermarkets hire crowd control stewards. Due to the banning of all events involving large crowds they're not exactly in short supply at the moment.
Supermarkets have taken this to mean; "Hire Nightclub Bouncers."
So now, in supermarkets up and down the country, nightclub bouncers are doing what nightclub bouncers have been trained to do. Employing completely unnecessary one-in, one-out policies.
In Britain at the moment there is of course only one strategic threat to the food supply;
'Professor' Neil Ferguson.
Just as how there was only one strategic threat to Britain's food supply back in 2001.
