Perhaps a Teachable Moment.

As I think I've mentioned my mothers own a gundog.

Like all gundogs she is bred to run around off-lead. However this particular gundog is not allowed to run around off-led. Due to her tendancy to start stupid fights with often much bigger dogs.

Yesterday (18/2/20) one of those bigger dogs won.

Leaving her with significant puncture wounds and bruising. However without any broken bones or damage to vital organs.

This bigger dog also attacked my mother while she was trying to seperate the pair. Leaving her with stitches to her face and lip.

Obviously there will be speculation that this was a deliberate attack.

After all we've all seen how Britain behaves towards Russians in Salisbury. Some of us even remember them deliberately starving the Skripal's pets to death.

It's also not the first time something like this has happened. Back when they were living by the 2012 Olympic park someone poisoned one of my mothers' cats to death.

Then of course there's the whole business of my paternal grandmother being poisoned and tortured to death.

A pattern of escalating violence that was fought to a stop back in 2013.

In the years since then my life has been dominated by much more extreme violence.

So you wouldn't think the lesson needed restating.

However;

In life you should have the sense not to be a bully.

If you must be a bully though at least have the sense to only go after people who are smaller and weaker than you.
