Well That Was Alarming.

On Friday (22/11/19) I did some online shopping.

Which had the creepy side-effect of reminding me of almost everywhere I've ever lived. Honestly if I had the budget I'd send random things to random addresses. Just to confuse it.

In this occasion I brought some distinctly unexciting coffee pods.

Along with a generic mp3 player. The main attraction of which was it offered a gig of memory for just 60 pence.

Let's put it this way. When you buy an iPod it comes pre-loaded with Beethoven's Shepherd's Hymn. This came pre-loaded with Blue's All Rise. Which shows that it works. Particularly the delete function.

When I ordered I got a delivery date of Wednesday (27/11/19).

The coffee pods turned up yesterday (23/11/19). The mp3 player turned up today.

Which has got to be a new experience. A delivery being frustrating by turning up too early.

I mean I got a new toy. Then I instantly had to put the new toy to one side to go to the gym.

Then my father and I met my brother for an early dinner. He was fresh from Helsinki and Internet start-up wankers. My conclusion, not his.

From sitting down to leaving we were only there for about 90 minutes. Which including ordering and eating doesn't really leave much time for any in depth conversation.

The only thing of more was that as my brother paid the bill on his card the fire alarms went off.

Smoke alarms going off in commercial kitchens is hardly unusual.

I though like to think it was the Wi-Fi network going into shock.
