In retirement my lawyer mother has started volunteering at a residential college for overseas students studying English as a second language. Mainly to get access to the university's vast library.
The session she had on Thursday (14/11/19) kept being interrupted by the fire alarm going off. Forcing them to repeatedly stand in the cold outside.
Also before travelling I got the battery in my watch replaced.
For the very James Bond reason that the existing battery has gone flat.
Yet I was still interested in telling the time.
