We're talking about young children, below the age of criminal responsibility. Who are not accused of any specific unlawful act.
Although they're now living with relatives they're actually under the care of the High Court's Family Division.
Meaning they have an independent Public Guardian to protect their interests. Including from the relatives they're living with.
I hope though the Court and the Public Guardian have the knowledge and courage to intervene. Should the relatives associate themselves with the likes of CAGE UK.

If US President Pence and CJTFOIR fail in their responsibility to prosecute the matter will have to be taken up by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
It is actually against the law to remove military prisoners from the battlefield on which they were captured.
Strictly speaking any ISIL members who have fled on their own accord need to be returned to lawful custody in Syria or Iraq.
But this is Britain.
They don't even prosecute the ISIL combatants based in Shoreditch.
