The Knee Has Spoken.
I'm not for turning.
About two months ago I tore the cartilage in my right knee. Most of it.
Last Sunday (6/10/19) I was hoping to boast about how I'd finally managed a full 30 minutes on a rowing machine. At its second lowest setting.
The following day I awoke feeling as though I'd been caned across the soles of both feet. And my pelvis had turned to dust.
By the Tuesday I was forced back to walking with a stick.
Which I can't say I was that bothered by.
It certainly added emphasis to my every proclamation. And would come in handy. Should there every be a stunt I need to cun.
I may even consider adopting it as a permanent affectation.
It does though make it harder to explain why I spent 20 minutes today on a rowing machine.
My reasoning is that, even weight bearing, flexibility forwards and backwards is fine. It's rotation, as if changing direction, that's the killer.
So, in theory, 20 minutes at the gym should not be as bad as turning to get a teaspoon out of the drawer.
Well, that's the theory.
