Poor Little Donald Trump.
For the past three weeks it has been widely reported that US President Donald Trump is facing impeachment.
That is not quite true.
Since taking control of the US House of Representatives the Democrat Party have been conducting multiple investigations into Donald Trump. I think the current total is six.
Three weeks ago the leader of the Democrats in Congress, Nancy Pelosi, announced that these investigations would be bundled together under a single "umbrella."
However at no point have the Democrats formally voted to open an impeachment inquiry. As a result impeachment proceedings are not technically underway.
Despite only being a mild irritant though this caused Donald Trump to throw an epic tantrum.
He gave Turkey permission to invade and annex its neighbour Syria. With the stated objective of conducting a campaign of Ethnic Cleansing against Syria's Kurdish population.
Representing a High Crime Against Humanity that is of course far worse than anything US Democrats are currently investigating.
Last night Nancy Pelosi was scheduled to give an update on the Democrats investigations.
So Donald Trump responded by suddenly inviting the family of Harry Dunn to visit him in the White House. At the time Pelosi was scheduled to give her update.
Harry Dunn was a young British man who was killed in a traffic collision by an American spy who then fled the UK. The Dunn family are campaigning to have her returned and prosecuted.
This all really relates to me.
Back in July 2019 British and US intelligence conspired to have me blocked by Twitter. Primarily this was an attempt to establish their dominance over me. The thinking being it would force me to fight my way out in a way that suited their agenda.
That plan obviously failed.
So Harry Dunn was killed in August 2019. Really as a way to save Britain and the US from having to admit that they are failures.
The Dunn family's campaign has provided yet another mild irritant. In the grand scheme of things. With the US cast in the role of the villain it particularly reflects badly on Trump.
So Trump invited the Dunn family to the White House as a way to distract from the Pelosi announcement and rally his supporters.
The idea being to portray himself as a victim. Battling against all this great slings and arrows of criticism.
After all a few negative headlines is certainly much worse than having your son killed.
Trump need not have bothered.
Pelosi announced the Democrats still aren't formally opening an impeachment inquiry. Let alone moving ahead with impeachment itself.
This reflects a long standing split in the party. Between those who want to impeach and those want to defeat Trump at the upcoming 2020 election.
Sadly I think Trump's actions on Syria mean that second option is no longer on the table.
