Today is a New Day
September 18th 2019 (18/9/19).
And I have to say that I'm a bit surprised.
Yesterday all the news channels were giving constant live coverage of proceedings in the Supreme Court.
Today they're still giving constant live coverage of proceedings in the Supreme Court.
Yesterday saw the appellants (Remain) put forward their case. While today has seen the respondents (Leave) put forward their case.
I expected the BBC at least to heroically bow to public pressure and significantly reduce their coverage today.
I suppose though this is the TV News equivalent of sticking a DVD on and heading off to the beach.
